Tom Simmons Events was founded by Tom Simmons, a member of prestigious American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) and a long-time event planner.
Tom's idea was to create a company that not only would produce events which would include floral, décor and design, but also offer full event planning and execution.
Tom has been involved in the floral industry for over 35 years and has written numerous articles on floral and design and had photography in Flowers & Brides Magazine, and other trade publications in the US and Canada. During this time he has also overseen major events, from weddings to bar mitzvahs to black tie affairs in Beverly Hills.
Under Tom's leadership, the company will also offer design services to floral industry partners, from product development as well as assistance to companies trying to create a "brand." Education is a very strong part of Tom's business philosophy, so the company will focus on how to teach clients to make their businesses more profitable.
Tom is committed to art of floral design education and is an Education Specialist for Teleflora, a flowers by wire service. He conducts educational seminars for the retail floral industry, teaching trends, techniques and business tips. His passion is to expose consumers to the need for flowers and creative design.
